Session is focused on the foundational skills required prior to being considered for a personal communication device or computer/note taking device. Explanation and review of skills that need to be in place for a student to be a good candidate for a personal device; goals and ideas/strategies for getting there. A comprehensive review of the process related to school-based evaluations as well as the process for requesting a team to come in and make a recommendation. Participants are welcome to bring in case studies for review and consideration during this training.
