Course Description:
This 1-day workshop will explore best practices in supporting students with ASD toward achieving independence. Topics will include: student interests and motivation, prompt fading, communication/social skills, data collection procedures, TEACCH in the classroom, and proactive behavior support. The importance of visual supports and functional curricula with MS/HS-aged Students will be emphasized.
