Course Description:
This session will use NYS ESL Standards and performance indicators, as well as content area standards and AGLIs, in providing Teachers with tools for the writing of memoirs, A Slice of Life, with their Students. Teachers will gain the knowledge to create lessons which are theoretically sound and functionally practical for Students in both Alternate and Standardized Assessment.

Participants are expected to attend all four sessions of this institute: 10/16/09, 12/18/09, 04/23/10 & 06/04/10.
