Description: This professional learning session introduces District 75 educators to the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) Essential Elements and their role in supporting meaningful learning opportunities for students with diverse learning needs. Participants will explore the connection between the Essential Elements, instructional priorities, and the DLM assessment system, with a focus on translating standards into purposeful learning experiences. Through collaborative activities and practical examples, teachers will examine how the Essential Elements can be used to identify appropriate learning targets, plan accessible instruction, and create opportunities for students to demonstrate knowledge and skills across settings. Participants will leave with strategies and resources to strengthen alignment among standards, instruction, assessment, and individualized student needs.
