Autism, English Language Learners, Instructional Technology (STEM) 2019/2020
Description: All students should be provided access to learning and should be given a voice regardless of their challenges. Digital tools provide accessibility for students to break through barriers they couldn't otherwise. We will cover general OS accessibility with Apple, Google, and Microsoft products along with 3rd-party learning platforms that exemplify accessibility. We will even explore other hardware (switches, etc.), software, translation, and general classroom tools to make learning more accessible. CTLE credit is available. This addresses ISTE Educator Standards 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
