Mathematics (STEM) 2019/2020
Description: This one-day workshop is for educators who work with Standardized Students in Grades 6-12. The focus will be on how to design, adapt, and create mathematical experiences that engage students through hands-on activities, multimedia, and visual problem solving. All of the activities will be aligned to the NYS Next Generation Learning Standards and the Culturally Response-Sustaining Education Framework. In addition, participants will deepen their knowledge of the Specially Designed Instruction and how it relates to mathematical learning & understanding.
