Description: This virtual 90-minute synchronous professional learning session will support District 75 educators in using the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) Essential Elements as a tool for intentional instructional planning. Participants will explore how to identify relevant Essential Elements, develop meaningful learning targets, and use the Essential Elements to plan instruction that supports students with diverse learning needs.
Through examples and guided application, participants will practice connecting the DLM Essential Elements to instructional activities, student learning needs, and opportunities for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. The session will provide practical strategies and resources that educators can apply to their instructional planning and classroom practice.
