Description: Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) goes far beyond simply providing an IEP-driven device—it is about creating an environment where every student has a voice. This full-day, practical workshop guides educators, therapists, and support staff through the essentials of AAC implementation. From identifying early indicators and laying the groundwork before a formal device is issued, to structuring your classroom environment and seamlessly weaving AAC into daily lessons. Participants will leave with ready-to-use strategies rooted in a universal design mindset.
