D75-19-408: Joint Action Routines for Math Classroom Teams
Mathematics (STEM), Speech 2019/2020

Description: During this 2-day series, classroom teams (math/classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, speech therapists) will learn the elements of a JAR and how to execute it in the math classroom. Teams will participate in example JAR activities that are directly connected to math curriculums and/or state standards. They will then be given time to collaborate with teams and other peers to plan a math JAR for their specific students. Using a collaborative lesson plan as a guide, teams will be expected to implement these strategies with their students and if possible, video tape their lesson for a follow-up. On day 2, teams will share videos and bring in a math lesson or concept for future use.
