Description: Composting is a great way to improve the soil of your garden and decrease your school's carbon footprint. In this one-day workshop, participants will be given a "crash course" on the basics of composting, the science behind it, and ways to use your compost to increase your garden's health. In addition, participants will create a small classroom vermicompost box--that means a making a worm bin!!
