Arts 2018/2019
Description: Draw out your students creative side and help them master science concepts with STEMart. Using STEMart will help teachers bring standards-based science art into their classroom. Participants will see the connections between science and art to effectively plan cross-curricular lessons. Teachers will participate in hands-on science art activities that they can use with students to serve as assessment probes of major understandings of student ideas in science. Further discussion will include adaptations and accommodations needed for students to flourish independently. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
