Description: This three-part virtual synchronous professional learning series overviews the Fundations program components and highlights ways in which teachers can support students by planning effective lessons, preparing materials, promoting access, collaborating with instructional teams, and utilizing the Wilson Academy to further their professional development. This learning series will include an overview of the program with a heavy focus on the procedural activities outlined in Levels K and 1.
Teachers will engage in demonstration of standard activities, practice in implementation of procedural activities, lesson planning, and video viewing of specific learning activities. Teachers will also have opportunities to explore ways to provide access for diverse learners; including adaptations that maintain fidelity to the program, while still making the curriculum accessible to all learners.
*Please note that each session will be 2 hours and participants are expected to attend all sessions.
