Description: This workshop is for SLPs, OTs, PTs and teachers working with students presenting with Sensory based feeding difficulties that result in feeding behaviors such as extremely picky eaters and non-eaters. These issues are often seen in children on the autism spectrum, or children transitioning from tube-feeding. This PD will address understanding sensory processing and its effect on feeding and swallowing, sensory responsive assessment and treatment approaches to include but not linited to SOS, oral sensory desensitization, and food chaining.
