Description:  This 2 day workshop is based on the understanding of the learning characteristics of individuals with autism and the use of physical structure, schedules, work systems, and visual supports to provide meaning, promote independence and capitalize on the individual’s strengths. Participants will learn methods for teaching students to navigate their environment independently. The format of this workshop will include presentations, interactive discussions and small group activities.
