D75-25-265: Assessment and Intervention for Students with Feeding and Swallowing Issues in the School Setting: FALL

Description: This 2-day workshop is designed for SLPs, OTs and PTs, to identify, treat and/or manage sensory, motor (oral, gross, and fine), and behavioral feeding and swallowing difficulties in students within the school setting. This course will also address best practices such as, using a team approach, employing a parent coaching model, interpreting findings, setting goals and exploring specific intervention strategies that providers can administer during their therapy sessions. Participants will be REQUIRED to complete a hands-on assessment of a student on their caseload or in their program to be discussed on day 2. Participants must be able to attend both days.
