Description: This full day workshop is geared towards teachers looking to integrate STEM into the curricu;um. Students need to learn emerging 21st Century skills, such as problem solving, collaboration and creative thinking. This is especially important in areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The Introduction to Robotics workshop will offer teachers an opportunity to see how these skills can be taught through hands on, project based learning involving robotics. Using classroom robotics such as Sphero, Ozobot, Dash & Dot, Bee-Bots and other devices teachers will have an opportunity to explore how to use the different types of robot and develop effective ways to integrate them into their lessons. Teachers will also have a chance to review and differentiate current curriculum and activities involving robotics. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course. CTLE approved
