Description: This one day workshop is for paraprofessionals to explore mathematical understanding through hands-on activities, games and visual modeling. The day will build educators knowledge for early number skills, operations in base ten, measurement & data, algebraic thinking, and early geometry concepts. The interactive math activities will demonstrate how to bridge standards-based work with engaging and fun activities that support student learning. All activities will be age appropriate and standard-based skills. Resources and materials will be distributed at the end of the day for turnkeying with your team.
