Description: This 1-day team-based workshop is for all school-based members of an IEP (i.e., classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, occupational and physical therapists, counselors as well as speech/language teachers) who are working with students who use an AAC system (i.e., communication notebook or device) to communicate their wants and needs throughout the school day across all settings. The workshop will focus on the importance of collaboration to promote language and communication across all settings of the school as it relates to students use of AAC systems.
