Description: This 2-day workshop is for teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists working with students who appear to have feeding difficulties that result in a limited diet, which include: picky eaters, problem feeders, or non-eaters. These issues are often seen in children on the autism spectrum, or children transitioning from tube-feeding. Topics will include: contributing factors, breakdown in the sensory systems and their contribution to mealtime difficulties, and assessment and treatment through analysis of videos and case studies. CEUs will be offered to participants. This course will be presented by the District 75 Feeding Team: Kimberly McInnis, DPT, and Samantha Eletz SLP.
