Inclusive Education 2018/2019
Description: This 2 day institute will consist of interschool visitations. The series is for teams of District 75 SETSS providers, their general education colleagues and/ or administrators. District 75 Special Class teachers are also welcome to attend. Intervisitations will focus on observing strategies used by teachers that address student's academic and social barriers in accessing the general education curriculum, environment and non- disabled peers. After observations, participants will discuss and develop steps on how they will implement strategies in their practice. Participants will need to complete a survey prior to the first day of intervisitation. Based on survey responses, participants will be grouped. Through the school year participants will also support each other through an online network.
