Understanding cultural differences and societal influences within the students' social spheres helps us to better tailor our services. Staff will walk away with tools and strategies for navigating these issues. Skills discussed are the following: 1b-Demonstrating Knowledge of Students; 2a-Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport; 2b-Establishing a Culture for Learning; 3a-Communicating with Students
