Description: In this 1 day workshop participants will be given a brief overview of positive psychology followed by strategies in implementing an evidence-based treatment for students in schools. This workshop is only for counseling related service providers. Participants are expected to bring ideas from their current practice. Skills discussed in this training are aligned with 1b-Demonstrating Knowledge of Students; 2a- Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport; 2c-Managing Classroom Procedures; 2d-Managing Student Behavior; 2e-Organizing Physical Space; 4f-Showing Professionalism.
