Description: This one-day workshop is part of a series required for all speech therapists new to working with students in alternate assessment. The material covered builds on the material presented in the previous workshops on assessment and goal writing, and will focus on supporting students in alternate assessment with complex communication, social and behavioral needs, and on providing differential instruction during group actiities, data taking and lesson planning. It is recommended but not required that teams of speech therapists and classroom teachers come together. Assessment and techniques will be addressed. Danielson Framework 2d, 4e
