Inclusive Education, Transition 2019/2020

Description: Preparation for postsecondary success requires that students are equipped with the skills needed for education, employment and independent living environments. During this session, participants will be introduced to the foundations of work based learning and its relevance to transition, graduation pathways and postsecondary planning. Participants will be exposed to diverse work based learning options, consider how to determine the appropriateness of a work based learning experience and learn about the laws and regulations that govern a student's participation in these experiences.
