Description: This workshop will review the relevant essential skills and behaviors necessary for safety and independence in education, employment and independent living environments. Participants will be introduced to best practices and instructional activities that will highlight opportunities to teach students various skills and assist them with developing, practicing and demonstrating mastery of skills in diverse settings.This workshop is open to elementary, middle school and high school teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors and administrators.
