D75-18-344: Math Joint Action Routines (JAR)
Mathematics (STEM), Speech 2018/2019

Description: During this 2-day series, classroom teams (math/classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, speech therapists) will learn the elements of a JAR and how to execute it in the math classroom. Teams will participate in example JAR activities that are directly connected to math curriculums and/or state standards. They will then be given time to collaborate with teams and other peers to plan a math JAR for their specific students. Using a collaborative lesson plan as a guide, teams will be expected to implement these strategies with their students and if possible, videotape their lesson for a follow-up. On day 2, teams will share videos and bring in a math lesson or concept for future use. There will be 2 follow-up dates, but you only need to attend one. The dates will be March 28th and April 4th and will be located at 721K. This is also listed in the Mathematics section.

OVERFLOW DAY - January 31. This is for all who could NOT attend on January 11. It will be the same PD.
