Description: In this workshop, participants will engage in activities and discussions, which will help them understand numerous aspects of implementing science centers in early childhood classrooms. We will unpack the PreK science standards presented in the NYC Scope & Sequence. We will make connections between the content and the different types of science center models and discuss how it can be integrated into the daily/weekly routine. Participants will plan a science center based on their classroom needs and creat their own model science center.
