Description: This full day workshop discusses an SLP’s Role in supporting literacy with a special focus on supporting students with various print disabilities. Development of literacy skills will be discussed, and attendees will learn about the speech and language roadblocks that impact the development of literacy skills with different student populations. Strategies to enable students with speech and language deficits and print disabilities to access the curriculum will be discussed. ASHA CEUs will be offered.
