Description: This one-day workshop is for speech therapists and classroom teachers who teach 12:1:1 or 8:1:1 students. Participants will build their knowledge and pedagogical skills to increase speech, communication, and questioning in the math classroom. Language and communication are essential for students in developing number sense and problem solving skills. The workshop will focus on hands-on activities that allow for communication, developing communication boards, and imbedding routines to facilitate more communication in the math classroom.
