Assessment & Accountability 2025/2026
Description: This full-day, in-person workshop is designed for NYSAA Liaisons to build advanced skills in coordinating a smooth, high-integrity assessment process at the school level. This session provides an in-depth, liaison-specific perspective on some of the content delivered in teacher trainings, with specific focus on planning ahead for testing security & teacher support.
Participants will:
*Deepen understanding of DLM Essential Elements, Mini-Maps, familiar texts, Student Learning Profiles, NYSAA data, and assessment policies.
*Develop strategies to guide teachers in targeted instruction, pacing, and problem-solving for complex testing scenarios.
*Strengthen planning for testing security by reviewing policies, anticipating potential risks, and establishing preventative measures.
By the end of the day, Liaisons will leave with actionable plans and tools to support teachers and students, ensure smooth test administration, and uphold the highest standards for the NYSAA process.
