Description: A required training for our staff, this topic has expanded over the years to include lessons on how to teach our students to respect others that they may consider different, both in person and online. Videos and staff exercises make the training meaningful to all participants. Parent educational counseling regarding bullying will also be addressed. Skills discussed in this training are 1b Demonstrating Knowledge of Students, 2a Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport, 2b Establishing a Culture for Learning, 3a Communicating with Students, 3b Using Questioning and Discussion Techniques, 3e Demonstrating Flexibility and Responsiveness, 4e Growing and Developing Professionally, 4f Showing Professionalism.
