Description: This workshop will provide an introduction and overview of transition services and planning required to prepare all students (12 and older) for postsecondary success. Staff will learn about the laws and regulations that govern transition services delivery, vocational assessments, and the role of staff and students in the initiation, monitoring and delivery of instructional and vocational transition activities. We will also review eligibility and resources for non-DOE program services. This workshop is open to middle school and high school teachers, counselors and administrators.
