D75-18-116: Questioning & Structured Teaching in the High School Art Studio
Arts 2018/2019

Description: Participants will develop and deepen their understanding of autism and multiple disabilities to proactively enhance student learning  through structuring classroom environments, activities, and systems in the High School classroom. Using the Visual Arts Blueprint as the content focus, we will engage in hands-on activities, discuss the accommodations and adaptations needed in order to increase independent experiences. Additionally, we will discuss effective questioning strategies to reach all levels of learners and increase communication among students. This PD is a one day workshop for classroom and Arts teachers grades 9-12.
