Mathematics (STEM) 2019/2020
Description: This one-day workshop is designed for 6:1:1 classroom teachers with fewer than three years of classroom experience. Participants will explore multiple best practices in mathematics instruction for early learners with autism, including developing math routines; selecting instructional targets using the DLM; facilitating communication; designing kinesthetic learning opportunities; and incorporating technology. Time will be provided to plan and create resources and activities to bring back to the classroom.
